10-12:30 pm - Christina Strang - It's Not Me, It's My Shadow
Explore the intersection of Jungian theory and graphology to understand how and why psychological projections manifest in handwriting. This interactive workshop on projections by the shadow self is insightful for both students and seasoned professionals. After learning many of the ways the shadow self presents itself,  you get to search for the shadow self in samples provided.

1-3 pm - Katrina Garvey - The Mind Behind the Writing
A Psychiatric Overview for Handwriting Analysts. Through clinical examples and handwriting samples, we will explore how the symptoms of the 7 major types of psychiatric disorders may affect behavior, cognition, motor function, and written expression. Importantly, we’ll distinguish between observing handwriting patterns and the factors needed for making a psychiatric diagnosis.
